Larry Zdeb will again have an assortment of his wearable art pendants made from watch springs, reclaimed wood and vintage photos available at Monday's I/ACT meeting. These artsy and fun items make great gifts and are wonderful conversation pieces. Larry will be at the
Leon and Lulu's Artist Market on Sunday August 29th and Tuesday August 31st.

Larry will also be in the "50th Annual Greater Michigan Art Exhibition" which is being held at the prestigious Alden B Dow Museum at the
Midland Center for the Arts. The opening for this event is September 18th.
Bill Cowger recently returned from another Photo Safari to Africa. His next exhibit which is a "Visual Adventure of Wildlife Photography" is scheduled for the month of September at the
Southfield Public Library , 2nd Floor. Bill will be at the library on Sunday Sept 12th from 2-4pm and also on Thursday Sept 16th from 6-8pm to meet with the public and discuss the 2011 safari schedule.

James Homer Brown participated in the
Detroit Artists Market "The DAM Box Show" - a charity fundraiser and silent auction. Recycled film reel boxes were decorated and transformed by the artists into unique pieces of art. Over 200 artists participated and the Artists' Market was filled to capacity at last Friday night's closing reception.
Jim also has two Golf Course paintings on display at the "Rivers and Lakes" exhibit at the
Grosse Pointe Art Center. One of the paintings from this "Dream Course" series received an honorable mention.
